CHICAGO - DePaul concludes the regular-season schedule in Milwaukee for a Saturday afternoon contest with Marquette. Both teams are looking to snap six-game losing streaks while DePaul seeks the season sweep of the Golden Eagles. The Blue Demons posted a 61-58 decision on New Year's Eve at Allstate Arena.

Saturday's game will be televised on FOX Sports 2 with Wayne Larrivee (play-by-play) and Dickie Simpkins (analyst) handling the television duties. DePaul stands at 12-18 overall and 6-11 in the BIG EAST this season while Marquette enters the game with an 11-18 record overall and 3-14 mark in league play. Head coach Oliver Purnell is in his fifth season at DePaul and his 27th as a head coach at the collegiate level. Marquette is led by head coach Steve Wojciechowski who is in his first season leading the Golden Eagles. Saturday's game is the 116th meeting between the two programs and the second of two during the regular season.

Following the Marquette game, DePaul opens its BIG EAST Tournament experience on Wednesday night in the first round. The Blue Demons will be either the seventh or eighth seed in the league tournament. All games of the BIG EAST Tournament will be televised on FOX Sports 1 live from Madison Square Garden.

DePaul defeated No. 24/24 Seton Hall, 64-60, on Jan. 22 in Newark... the Blue Demons then posted a 75-62 win over the Pirates on Feb. 3 at Allstate Arena... Creighton and Marquette will be the ninth and 10th seeds with the order to be determined... the first round of the BIG EAST Tournament features No. 7 against No. 10 and No. 8 against No. 9 on Wednesday night at Madison Square Garden.

3-Paul Sets New Program Record: DePaul's 238 three-pointers this season are a new single-season team record. The 2007-08 team previously held the top mark with 231 three's. The Blue Demons enter the Marquette game averaging 7.9 three's per game this season.

In three of Oliver Purnell's five seasons at DePaul, the Blue Demons have finished in the top six on the team season three-point chart. The 2011-12 team is third and the 2013-14 squad is tied for fifth.

In addition to the top five ranking in three's made, the 2014-15 team is currently second with 665 three-point attempts and tied for seventh with a .358 three-point percentage this season.

Billy Garrett Jr. scored six of his game-high 19 points in the final two minutes to help propel the Blue Demons to their first victory over Marquette since Jan. 20, 2010... DePaul erased a 13-point second-half deficit... down 49-36 with 11:46 to play, the Blue Demons closed out the game on a 25-9 run which was fueled by nine points from Garrett and six from Jamee Crockett...
