Brown, Holland Earn All-Conference USA Honors



CHICAGO – DePaul’s Andre Brown and Delonte Holland were both named second team All-Conference USA the league announced today.

 

Brown, a 6-9 senior from Chicago, averages 14.2 points and 9.6 rebounds, and was named to the all-league team despite missing nine games with knee discomfort. Brown is one of eight DePaul players to have 1,000 points and 800 rebounds in a career.

 

Holland, a 6-7 senior from Greenbelt, Md., leads the Blue Demons and is fifth in the league in scoring at 16.5 points per game. He also tops DePaul with 35 steals.

 

DePaul finished the regular season 19-8 and tied for the C-USA title with a 12-4 record. The Blue Demons will be the top seed in the league tournament and will open play on Thursday against the winner of the Marquette-TCU game at 2:30 p.m. (CST).
