DePaul Adds Femi Olujobi as Graduate Transfer
May 15, 2018

CHICAGO – DePaul head coach Dave Leitao announced today that Femi Olujobi is joining the program as a graduate transfer. Olujobi will be eligible during the 2018-19 season with the Blue Demons as a graduate student after playing at North Carolina A&T last season.

“Femi has great size and a very good scoring touch. With his ability to shoot the ball, we will be able to stretch the floor at every position next season,” said Leitao. “In addition to his scoring ability, his ability to rebound at a high level allows us to continue the trend we set this past season in our advantage on the boards. His talent level and experience will mix well with the talent and experience we have coming back on the roster for next season.”

Olujobi led the Aggies last season with 16.3 points and 7.7 rebounds per game. He shot .536 (185-345) from the field overall in 31.9 minutes per game. He totaled 26 games in double-figures that included nine 20-point game and two 30-point games. Olujobi also pulled down at least 10 rebounds in 10 games with eight double-doubles.

The Long Island native poured in 37 points and 18 rebounds against Jacksonville on Nov. 18 after scoring 20 points with four rebounds at Clemson on Nov. 12. He also turned in impressive games against East Carolina with 23 points and nine rebounds and Georgetown with 18 points and eight boards.

Prior to North Carolina A&T, Olujobi played two seasons at Oakland (Mich.). He played in 56 games for the Grizzlies with nine starts over his two seasons. Olujobi was an All-Long Island selection at Brentwood High School.
