Quemont Greer Signs National Letter Of Intent To Play At DePaul
CHICAGO -- Quemont Greer, a senior at the Berkshire School in Homestead, Florida, has signed a letter-of-intent to attend DePaul University, it was announced today by head coach Pat Kennedy.
"Quemont clearly ranks as one of the top high school players in the nation," Kennedy said. "His versatility inside and outside makes him a threat to be a very effective college player. Like our other signees, Quemont comes from an outstanding family and played in a program that has a long history of developing quality players."
A 6-7, 215-pound guard/forward, Quemont was listed as one of the top 20 small forwards in the nation by Athlon. He was also ranked as the 32nd-best player by ESPN.com, the 48th-best by Lindy's and 53rd by The Sporting News. Greer played his junior season at Vincent High School in Milwaukee where he averaged 13.5 points, eight rebounds and five blocks per game while leading Vincent to the Wisconsin state championship last year.
