DePaul Announces Additional Non-Conference TV Games

CHICAGO – In addition to three televised games at the 76 Classic during Thanksgiving weekend, the DePaul men’s basketball team is scheduled to make four additional appearances on television this season. The non-conference television schedule opened Sunday evening with the season-opening win against Chicago State.

The Blue Demons open the 76 Classic in Anaheim on Thanksgiving Day against Oklahoma State on ESPN2. DePaul and Oklahoma State tip off at 3:30 p.m. CT. Day two of the 76 Classic will have DePaul on either ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU depending on the result of the Oklahoma State game at either 1:30 p.m. or 4 p.m. CT. DePaul faces either Virginia Tech or Cal State Northridge on Friday, Nov. 26.

In the final day in Anaheim, the Blue Demons will be televised on ESPN2 or ESPNU. The Sunday, Nov. 28 game will see DePaul take on Murray State, UNLV, Stanford or Tulsa.

In addition to televising the Chicago State game, LPTV will also be the channel for the Northern Illinois game on Thursday, Dec. 2. The Blue Demons and Huskies are scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. start at Allstate Arena.

The final two non-conference TV games will be televised on a new channel to the Chicagoland line-up – WCUU – 'The U Too.' 'The U Too' will also be the home to DePaul’s BIG EAST Network games as part ESPN Regional Television.

'The U Too' is scheduled to launch in December and features DePaul games against UW-Milwaukee and Loyola-Chicago on Dec. 14 and 18. Due to the added television game for the UW-Milwaukee game, the start time has been moved to 8 p.m. It was originally scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. start in Rosemont.

For viewers watching with an antenna, the over-the-air digital position will be The U Too 26.2. Cable subscribers will see The U Too on Comcast 248, RCN 35 and WOW 170.

All of the BIG EAST Network games will also be available on and ESPN’s Full Court package.

With the non-conference schedule finalized, DePaul's online streaming schedule will consist of four non-conference games starting Tuesday night with the Blue Demons taking on Western Carolina. Other games available on BlueTube include the Dec. 5 contest against Central Michigan, Dec. 11 against Ball State and the Dec. 22 game against Florida Atlantic.
