CHICAGO – DePaul returns to Rosemont for a Tuesday night game against the Fairfield Stags. Start time at Allstate Arena is scheduled for 8 p.m. as the Blue Demons look to end a two-game skid following losses in Cancun to Wichita State and Western Kentucky.

Tuesday’s game can be seen in Chicagoland on The U Too with Zach Zaidman (play-by-play) and Jeff Blanzy (analyst) handling the television duties. DePaul stands a 2-3 following a 75-62 loss against Wichita State and a 70-61 setback against Western Kentucky at the Cancun Challenge. Fairfield enters the game at 3-3 after a 66-47 loss at Providence on Friday. DePaul head coach Oliver Purnell is in his third season at DePaul and his 25th as a head coach at the collegiate level.

Following the Fairfield game, DePaul travels to Auburn for the SEC/BIG EAST Challenge. The Blue Demons and Tigers tangle on Friday, Nov. 30 on ESPNU at 8 p.m.

Noting the Blue Demons: The men’s basketball program is 1,386-883 (.611) all-time... the Blue Demons have knocked down at least one three-pointer in 584 straight games... DePaul’s last game without a three was Feb. 16, 1993 against UAB at Allstate Arena... the Blue Demons are 312-142 (.687) all-time at Allstate Arena... DePaul is 7-1 (.875) all-time in games at McGrath-Phillips Arena... the Blue Demons currently hold a seven-game winning streak against Chicagoland programs that includes victories over Chicago State, UIC, Loyola and Northern Illinois... in each of Oliver Purnell’s two seasons at DePaul, the Blue Demons have faced three Chicagoland opponents during the non-conference portion of the schedule with wins in each meeting.

- DePaul leads the all-time series with Western Kentucky by a 10-6 margin... Wednesday was the first meeting between the two programs since the 1995-96 season.
- Cleveland Melvin’s first basket made him the 47th player in program history to reach 1,000 career points... he finished the game with 1,020 points and moved into 44th place on DePaul’s all-time scoring list.
- Melvin also recorded his first double-double of the season and the eighth of his career... he has now scored in double-figures in 19 straight games.
- Brandon Young took sole possession of 20th on DePaul all-time assist chart... he has 281 career assists... Young’s 12 points extended his streak to nine straight games in double-figures.
