Nov. 28, 2012
CHICAGO – DePaul and WSCR 670 The Score have announced two schedule changes this week for the men’s basketball program. Friday’s game at Auburn will be moved to WIND 560 AM and tonight’s Oliver Purnell Show has been postponed due to a scheduling conflict at WSCR 670 The Score.
DePaul and Auburn square off in the SEC/BIG EAST Challenge Friday night at Auburn Arena. The radio tandem of Zach Zaidman and Jeff Blanzy will call all the action on WIND live courtside. Friday’s game will also be televised on ESPNU with former Blue Demon Stephen Howard handling the analyst duties starting at 8 p.m.
DePaul agreed to make the move to WIND to accommodate the broadcast of the Northern Illinois football team playing in the MAC Championship game Friday night.
The next scheduled Oliver Purnell Show is for Friday, Dec. 7 at 8 p.m. Purnell will recap the recent action on the court and preview upcoming games as the Blue Demons prep to host Milwaukee on Dec. 9. Prior to playing Arizona State on Dec. 12, Purnell returns to the airwaves for his weekly stop on WSCR 670 The Score on Tuesday, Dec. 11.
