CHICAGO - DePaul returns to Allstate Arena Monday night against Milwaukee to open a busy week of basketball that features three games over a six-day period. The Blue Demons and Panthers play at 8 p.m. on Monday in Rosemont before DePaul plays at Loyola on Wednesday night and hosts Chicago State on Saturday afternoon.

Monday's 8 p.m. start can be seen in Chicagoland on The U Too with Daron Sutton (play-by-play) and Adrian Tigert (analyst) calling all the action. The game can also be heard on WSCR 670 The Score with Zach Zaidman (play-by-play) and Laurence Holmes (analyst) handling the radio duties. Following the Milwaukee game, DePaul takes the short trip to Rogers Park to play Loyola on Wednesday night at Gentile Arena. The game will be televised in Chicagoland on Lakeshore Public TV while Zaidman and Holmes hold down the radio dial on WSCR 670 The Score with a schedule tip time of 7 p.m.

Noting the Blue Demons: The men's basketball program is 1,377-862 (.615) all-time... the Blue Demons have knocked down at least one three-pointer in 554 straight games... DePaul's last game without a three was Feb. 16, 1993 against UAB at Allstate Arena... the Blue Demons are 307-133 (.698) all-time in Rosemont... DePaul is 5-1 (.833) all-time in games at McGrath-Phillips Arena.

The Opponent - Milwaukee Panthers: Milwaukee takes the trip south to Rosemont for Monday's game... the Panthers are 7-1 overall and 2-0 in Horizon League play... they opened the league schedule with wins over Loyola and UIC this weekend... Milwaukee knocked off Loyola, 59-41, on Thursday before a 73-71 overtime win over UIC on Saturday... the lone defeat was a 68-55 decision at Michigan State on Nov. 23... James Haarsma leads three players in double-figures with 11.5 points per game along with a team-high 9.0 rebounding average... Haarsma is followed by Kaylon Williams at 11.1 points per game and Ja'Rob McCallum's 10.0 scoring average... head coach Rob Jeter is in his seventh season leading the Milwaukee program.

The Series: Monday is the 10th meeting between the two programs... DePaul has won all 10 games and all 10 have been played at DePaul... the two sides met for the first time since 1972 last season... the Blue Demons posted a 61-47 win over the Panthers on Dec. 14, 2010 at Allstate Arena.

The Last Meeting: DePaul knocked off Milwaukee, 61-47, at Allstate Arena on Dec. 14, 2010... the Blue Demons were led by Tony Freeland's 14 points off the bench... Cleveland Melvin added 11 while Krys Faber and Brandon Young each scored eight... Milwaukee was led by Anthony Hill and Ja'Rob McCallum's 10 points apiece... the Blue Demons held a 29-25 advantage at halftime before outscoring the Panthers by 10 in the second half.

Against the Horizon League: DePaul is 108-36 all-time against the current lineup of the Horizon League... the Blue Demons also play Loyola-Chicago on Wednesday night... Loyola is DePaul's most common Horizon League opponent with 54 all-time meetings.

It Could Happen: A start for Krys Faber is the 50th in his career... Jeremiah Kelly needs three three-pointers to move into a tie for ninth with Joe Tulley (119 3pt. FG, 1999-03)... with three steals, Kelly moves into a tie for 16th all-time with Thomas Cooper (132 steals, 1995-99)... Cleveland Melvin needs four points for 500 in his career... Brandon Young needs five assists for 150 career helpers.

Demon Doings: Notes following DePaul's 70-68 loss against Mississippi in the BIG EAST/SEC Challenge on Dec. 1:
- Cleveland Melvin registered his first double-double of the season with 14 points and a season-high
10 rebounds... he has reached double-figures in 25 of 33 career games (75.8 percent)... his consecutive free throws made streak ended at 19 with 14:53 to go in the second half... Melvin went 5-of-8 at the free throw line.
- Brandon Young added a team-high 18 points... tallied double-figures in 26 of 37 career games (70.2 percent)... Young surpassed the 500-point plateau in his 37th career game.
- Jeremiah Kelly played in his 100th career game and collected his 116th career three-pointer, moving him into sole possession of 11th on DePaul's all-time list.
- Krys Faber played in his 96th career game for the Blue Demons.
- Ole Miss holds an 8-12 all-ti me record against the current members of the BIG EAST Conference.
- Thursday was the third meeting between the two programs... Mississippi leads the series, 2-1.
- The squads last met on Dec. 20, 2007 when Ole Miss picked up a 69-63 win over the Blue Demons at the San Juan Shootout.

Oh So Close to 6-0: In DePaul's two defeats this season to Minnesota and Mississippi, the Blue Demons have lost by a combined three points. While both games came down to the final possessions, the Blue Demons took a different path in each game.

The Blue Demons led by as many as 12 points against Minnesota on Thanksgiving Day at the Old Spice Classic before falling by an 86-85 score. On Dec. 1 against Ole Miss in the BIG EAST/SEC Challenge at Allstate Arena, DePaul erased a 17-point second-half deficit before dropping a 70-68 decision.

The last time a DePaul team started a season 6-0 was in 1986-87 when the Blue Demons began that campaign with a 16-0 record.

Three Decades in Rosemont: DePaul is in its 32nd season in 2011-12 at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Ill. The Blue Demons are 307-133 (.698) all-time in Rosemont. DePaul played its first season at the then-named Rosemont Horizon in 1980. The Blue Demons debuted in Rosemont with a 74-56 win over Gonzaga and John Stockton on Dec. 1, 1980.
