- Both Young and Melvin reached the 20-point plateau, becoming the first pair of players to do so since they pulled off the feat on Feb. 27, 2013 versus Louisville.

Rookies of the Week: A DePaul freshman has claimed the BIG EAST Rookie of the Week in two of the first three weeks of the season. Tommy Hamilton IV was named the league’s Rookie of the Week on Nov. 18 followed by Billy Garrett Jr. on Dec. 2.

Hamilton followed up the season-opening double-double with eight points and four rebounds against Southern Miss on Nov. 13 and 13 points with five boards against Wright State on Nov. 16. The 6-10 center also showcased his range with a three-pointer in each of the last two games.
