CHICAGO - DePaul hosts Milwaukee for a Sunday afternoon non-conference game at Allstate Arena. The Blue Demons and Panthers are scheduled for a 4 p.m. start in Rosemont as DePaul looks to extend its current winning streak for four straight victories.

Sunday's game can be heard in Chicago on WYLL 1160 AM with Steve Olken (play-by-play) and Jeff Blanzy (analyst) handling the radio duties. The game will also be streamed live on BlueTube (www.depaulbluedemons.com/allaccess) and on DePaul's mobile app with video and the radio call. DePaul stands a 5-3 following a 74-64 win at Chicago State on Wednesday. The Blue Demons hold a three-game winning streak heading into Sunday while Milwaukee enters the game at 3-6 after an 80-73 overtime win against Northern Illinois on Friday. DePaul head coach Oliver Purnell is in his third season at DePaul and his 25th as a head coach at the collegiate level. Milwaukee's Rob Jeter is in his eighth season at Milwaukee.

Following the Milwaukee game, DePaul travels to Arizona State for a Wednesday night matchup against the Sun Devils. The game will be televised on the Pac-12 Network and can be found on WSCR 670 The Score with Zach Zaidman and Blanzy calling the action courtside.

Noting the Blue Demons: The men's basketball program is 1,389-883 (.611) all-time... the Blue Demons have knocked down at least one three-pointer in 587 straight games... DePaul's last game without a three was Feb. 16, 1993 against UAB at Allstate Arena... the Blue Demons are 313-142 (.688) all-time at Allstate Arena... DePaul is 7-1 (.875) all-time in games at McGrath-Phillips Arena... the Blue Demons currently hold an eight-game winning streak against Chicagoland programs that includes victories over Chicago State, UIC, Loyola and Northern Illinois... in each of Oliver Purnell's two full seasons at DePaul, the Blue Demons have faced three Chicagoland opponents during the non-conference portion of the schedule with wins in each meeting... in the Purnell era, the Blue Demons are 13-3 when scoring 80 or more points... DePaul has used five different starting lineups this season... Donnavan Kirk, Cleveland Melvin and Brandon Young have started every game this season... DePaul is scheduled to have at least 27 games televised during the 2012-13 season... over the first eight games, DePaul and its opponents have scored 287 points each in the first half... in the eight second-halves this season, the DePaul have outscored the opposition by a score of 323-273.

The Opponent - Milwaukee Panthers: Milwaukee stands at 3-6 entering Sunday's game... the Panthers are in the midst of a five-day stretch with three games... Milwakee lost, 72-52, to Buffalo on Wednesday before an 80-73 overtime win over Northern Illinois on Friday... the win over the Huskies snapped a five-game losing streak... Paris Gulley leads the team with 20.3 points per game... Aaron Jordan adds a 16.6 scoring average with a team-high 23 three-pointers... head coach Rob Jeter is in his eighth season leading the Milwaukee program... The Series: Sunday is the 12th meeting between the two programs... DePaul holds a 10-1 advantage in the series... Milwaukee registered its first win last season by an 87-76 score on Dec. 5 at Allstate Arena.

The Last Meeting: Milwaukee set an Allstate Arena record for a visiting team with a field goal percentage of .617 (29-47) in an 87-76 win over DePaul on Dec. 5, 2011... Paris Gulley and Tony Meier both went 5-for-5 from three-point range as the Panthers built a 48-28 advantage at halftime... Kaylon Williams led Milwaukee with 21 points... Cleveland Melvin led all scorers with 27 points and Brandon Young added 20... the win was the first for Milwaukee over DePaul and over a BIG EAST program.

Against the Horizon League: DePaul is 104-36 all-time against the current lineup of Horizon League programs... DePaul's most common opponent is Loyola-Chicago with the Blue Demons holding a 38-17 advantage... DePaul hosts Loyola on Dec. 29 at Allstate Arena.

It Could Happen: Brandon Young needs 19 points to become the 48th player in program history with 1,000 career points... Young (297 assists) needs three assists for 300 in his career...  three assists will also move Young in 15th all-time at DePaul in assists... Young will be making his 70th career start... Cleveland Melvin needs 19 points to move into a tie for 39th all-time with Bryant Bowden (1992-96) and Clyde Bradshaw (1977-81) at 1,102 points... Melvin's next blocked shot (79 blocks) moves him into sole possession of 11th all-time... he is tied for 11th with Kevin Holmes (79, 1982-86)... Moses Morgan needs three three-pointers (89 career 3pt. field goals) to move into a tie for 17th all-time with Rashon Burno (92, 1998-02)... Worrel Clahar is playing in his 40th game at DePaul.

Demon Doings: Notes following DePaul's 74-64 win at Chicago State on Dec. 5:
- DePaul leads the all-time series against Chicago State 11-0 and is 16-0 against current members of the Great West Conference.
- The Blue Demons have won eight straight against Chicagoland programs, including Chicago State, Northern lllinois, Loyola and UIC.
- The Blue Demons out-rebounded the Cougars 48-30, their largest rebounding advantage of the season... DePaul improved to 4-0 when winning the rebounding battle.
- DePaul committed a season-high 21 turnovers.
- Forward Cleveland Melvin finished in double-figures for the 56th time in 66 career games... he has scored in double figures in 22 straight games going back to the 2011-12 season.
- Young finished in double-figures for the 52nd time in his Blue Demon career and has a current streak of 12 double-figure games... Young set a season-high with six assists.
- Worrel Clahar posted a career-high nine rebounds and tied a season-high with 11 points.

Melvin Eclipses 1,000 Points, Young On Deck: DePaul junior forward Cleveland Melvin became the 47th player in program history with 1,000 career points when he knocked down his first basket against Western Kentucky on Nov. 21. Melvin currently sits in 41st place on the all-time scoring chart with 1,083 points.

On deck for the 1,000-point club is junior guard Brandon Young. Young enters the Milwaukee game with 981 points. With 15 more points, Young passes three players on the list and with 19 points he becomes the 48th player in program history to reach 1,000 career points.

Who's Next: The Blue Demons travel to Arizona State for a Wednesday night game... start time is scheduled for 7 p.m. MT... Arizona State is 8-1 following an 87-76 win over Cal State Northridge on Saturday... DePaul holds a 3-1 advantage in the series... a year ago, the Blue Demons posted a 68-64 win at the Old Spice Classic on Nov. 27.
