What a way to head into the Christmas holiday. DePaul's players converged on their coach, pounding his back and jostling him around as Oliver Purnell won the 400th game of his stellar career Wednesday night at Allstate Arena.

CHICAGO - DePaul opens a busy week of three games in seven days at Allstate State with a Thursday night game against Florida Atlantic. The game is part two of a FOX Sports 1 DePaul basketball doubleheader as the women’s team hosts No. 5 Kentucky in the first game at McGrath-Phillips Arena. Start time for the Blue Demons and Owls is 8 p.m. in Rosemont for the second all-time meeting between the two programs.

Thursday’s game will be televised on FOX Sports 1 with Eric Collins (play-by-play) and Stephen Bardo (analyst) handling the television duties. DePaul enters the game at 4-4 after the 78-56 loss against Arizona State on Dec. 6. DePaul head coach Oliver Purnell is in his fourth season at DePaul and his 26th as a head coach at the collegiate level. Florida Atlantic is 3-6 overall and is led by Mike Jarvis who is in his sixth season leading the Owls.
