DePaul is 5-1 after beating Ohio 63-60 on Tuesday in Athens, Ohio. Notre Dame is 2-3 after falling to Indiana 66-63 on Wednesday in South Bend, Ind.



Notre Dame is receiving votes in both the Associated Press and ESPN/USA Today Top 25 polls. DePaul is not mentioned in either poll.



Notre Dame leads the series 49-41. The Fighting Irish won last season (102-71) in South Bend. The last DePaul win in the series came during the 1994-95 season at the United Center. Notre Dame’s last win in Rosemont came during the 1985-86 season.



DePaul’s Dave Leitao is in his second season with the Blue Demons and is 21-14. Leitao is 43-49 in four seasons as a head coach and is 0-1 against the Fighting Irish. Mike Brey is in his ninth season as a head coach and his fourth at Notre Dame. He is 167-86 overall and 68-34 with the Irish. Brey is 1-0 against DePaul.



Today's game will be televised by WGN with Dan Roan (play-by-play) and David Kaplan (color commentary) handling the announcing chores.
