The Records

DePaul is 5-3 after beating 16th-ranked Wake Forest 84-81 on Tuesday in Winston-Salem, N.C. Old Dominion is 6-2 after losing to Drexel 61-42 on Saturday in Philadelphia.

 

The Series

DePaul leads the all-time series 5-2. The Blue Demons won the last meeting 73-60 on January 2, 2005 at the Allstate Arena. DePaul also won the last meeting in Norfolk, 95-88 on January 23, 1988. The last Old Dominion victory in the series came on February 11, 1986, 66-53 in Norfolk. Current streak: DePaul – 3.

 

The Last Meeting

Quemont Greer scored 23 points and grabbed 12 rebounds while Drake Diener had 16 points as DePaul posted a 73-60 victory over Old Dominion at the Allstate Arena on January 2, 2005. The Monarchs were led by Arnaud Dahi's 19 points.

 

The Coaches

Jerry Wainwright is in his first season at DePaul and his 12th as a head coach. He is 191-147 overall and 5-3 with the Blue Demons. Wainwright is 13-6 against the Monarchs. Blaine Taylor is in his 12th season as a head coach, spending the last six at Old Dominion. He is 218-116 overall and 76-51 at ODU. Taylor is 0-1 against the Blue Demons.
