HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC - DePaul golfers Russell Budd, Jan Juelicher and Adrian Halimi are all tied for 24th place after the first day of competition at the eighth-annual Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate Golf Tournament.

Frost delayed the start of round one by an hour, so the 18-team field was unable to complete Monday's scheduled second round.  Each squad has five holes left to play to finish round two.

The second round will be completed on Tuesday morning followed by the final 18 holes at the par 72, 6,828-yard Wexford Plantation course.

The Blue Demon trio of Budd, Juelicher and Halimi all shot a three-over, 75 in the first round and are in an 11-way tie for 24th. Moritz Ackerhans is +7 and sits in a tie for 61st and John Pavelko is +9 and is tied for 71st.

DePaul combined for a +16 and is tied for ninth with Ohio University.  Tournament host, Francis Marion combined for a three-over 291 team score and holds a one-stroke lead over second-place University of Richmond (292).
