DADE CITY, Fla. – The DePaul men’s golf team moved into a tie for 14th place at the USF Invitational on Monday, behind Adrian Halimi’s two-under 70 in the second round of action at the Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club.

Halimi took 10 shots off his first round total of 80 on Monday and currently sits in tie with teammate Russell Budd for 37th.  Halimi played the course at par all day and carded birdies on the 13th and 17th holes.  Budd matched his first round score of 75 on Monday and registered birdies on the second and 18th holes.

Moritz Ackerhans is tied for 52nd and finished the second round with a two-over 74 while he carded a team-best four birdies on the day.  John Pavelko was six over the day and is tied for 7nd.  

Moritz Hausweiler heads into the final round tied for 83rd after five-over, 77 in the second round.

North Carolina State moved into first place after combining to shoot, nine under for the round. Albin Choi from NC State leads field and is eight under for the tournament.

The tournament concludes on Tuesday with the final round teeing off at 8 a.m.
