Juelicher in Top 10 Through Two Rounds
April 2, 2012 Rounds 1 & 2 Results JONESBORO, Ark. - DePaul's Jan Juelicher is tied for eighth after two rounds on Monday at the ASU Red Wolf Intercollegiate. The freshman is at even par after 36 holes and is followed by Ben Westley and Moritz Ackerhans. Juelicher started the day with a one-under score of 70 followed by a one-over score of 72. In the morning round, he stood at even par before recording a birdie on three of his final five holes to post his third round of the year of 70 or better. Juelicher's second round saw 13 pars and two birdies as he finished the day in a four-way tie for eighth place with a two-round score of 142 Moritz Ackerhans and Ben Westley turned in identical rounds and are in a tie for 44th place heading into Tuesday's final 18 holes. Both players shot a 75 in the morning session followed by a 73 in the afternoon round for a six-over total of 148. Russell Budd and Brad Stephens rounded out the DePaul contingent on Monday with Budd in a tie for 87th and Stephens in a group in 116th place. Budd carded rounds of 80 and 74 while Stephens recorded scores of 78 and 88. The Blue Demons sit in a tie for 10th place with a team total of 590 following Monday's play out of 22 teams competing at RidgePointe CC. Austin Peay holds a two-shot lead over Arkansas-Little Rock with a team score of 572. Troy's Ricky Casko and Vanderbilt's Charlie Ewing and Will Snipes are tied for the individual lead with Monday totals of 139.
