COLUMBIA, Mo. - Through two rounds at the Columbia Orthopedic Group Mizzou Intercollegiate, the DePaul golf team is in seventh place. Host Missouri leads the 16-team field while Ben Westley sits in a tie for eighth to lead the Blue Demon contingent.

Westley is in a tie with Xavier's Peter O'Neill with a two-round total of 153 (+9). Westley opened the tournament on Monday morning with an 80 before coming back in the afternoon round with a 73. The 73 was the best single-round score by a DePaul player on Monday.

Maximilian Mayer follows Westley in a group in 24th place. He is one of six players to post a Monday score of 157 (+13). Mayer carded rounds of 78 and 79 and is a shot ahead of teammate Russell Budd. Budd is tied for 30th after he shot an 81 and a 77 over the first 36 holes. His two-round score of 158 is 14-over par.

Moritz Ackerhans and Charles Boucher round out the scoring for DePaul over the first two rounds with Ackerhans in a tie for 57th and Boucher in a tie for 68th. Ackerhans posted scores of 80 and 82 while Boucher shot an 86 and an 80 in the first two rounds.

Missouri holds a 15-stroke lead over Nebraska on the team leaderboard with the Blue Demons in seventh place. Toledo is two shots ahead of DePaul after the Blue Demons combined for a team score of 628 (+52). Missouri's Jace Long is the lone player under par after two rounds with a two-under total of 142.

The final 18 holes are scheduled for an 8 a.m. start on Tuesday morning at The Club at Old Hawthorne in Columbia, Mo.
