Second Round Suspended at Windon Memorial Classic

GLENCOE, Ill. - With darkness suspending the second round on Sunday evening, the DePaul men's golf team is tied for 10th after one official round of play. The second round will continue on Monday morning followed by the final 18 holes. Russell Budd and John Pavelko lead the Blue Demon with scores of 75 over the first round.

DePaul completed its second round before play was halted due to darkness but the results will not be official until all of the competitors have completed their second circuit of the Skokie Country Club. Nine of the 15 teams will conclude the second round on Monday morning.

Following the first round, Budd and Pavelko are tied for 18th place with identical scores of 75 (+4). Moritz Hausweiler is tied for 44th while Moritz Ackerhans and Adrian Halimi are in a group in 63rd place. Hausweiler carded a 78 on Sunday while Ackerhans and Halimi each fired a round of 80.

The Blue Demons are tied for 10th with Marquette and Toledo after the first round and currently sit in 11th place unofficially in the second round. Northwestern holds the team lead by two shots after the first round over Coastal Carolina.
