DePaul Completes Day Two at Louisville

SIMPSONVILLE, Ky. - The DePaul golf team wrapped up the second of three rounds at the Louisville Cardinal Challenge on Saturday. Kyle Vincze continues to lead the Blue Demons and is tied for 16th heading into the final 18 holes on Sunday.

Vincze holds a two-round total of 147 (+3) after carding a 75 (+3) on Saturday. He is among seven players tied for 16th among the 79 competitors this weekend.

Joe McCarthy and Charlie Spencer-White are tied for 33rd with 36-hole scores of 150 (+6). McCarthy posted a 74 (+2) in the second round while Spencer-White shot a 76 (+4).

Following McCarthy and Spencer-White are Bobby Thomas, Freddy Thomas and Garret Buckley. Bobby Thomas is tied for 46th following a 76 (+4) on Saturday that gives him a tournament total of 152 (+8). Freddy Thomas is tied for 67th with a 159 (+15) and Buckley is tied for 72nd with a score of 160 (+16). Freddy Thomas recorded an 80 (+8) and Buckley posted an 81 (+9) on Saturday.

Host Louisville lead the field with a team total of 572 (-4) through 36 holes. Miami (Ohio) is second and just one shot behind the Cardinals. DePaul is tied for 12th with a tournament score of 611 (+35). Miami's Patrick Flavin leads the field with a seven-under score of 137.

Sunday's final 18 holes are scheduled for a 9 a.m. ET start at the UofL Golf Club.
