CHICAGO - The Blue Demons travel to just outside of Tampa for the USF Invitational this weekend. The 21-team event features three days of 18 holes starting Friday at Lake Jovita Country Club South Course in Dade City, Fla. This is DePaul's second trip to the Tampa area after opening the Spring campaign at The Match Play at TPC Tampa Bay in early February.

DePaul joins host USF at Lake Jovita along with Arkansas State, Austin Peay, Central Florida, Cincinnati, Eastern Michigan, Florida Atlantic, Florida Southern, Florida State, Jacksonville State, Louisville, Marquette, Middle Tennessee State, Missouri State, North Texas, Rhode Island, Toledo, Troy, Villanova, Florida Gulf Coast and Ohio.

The Blue Demons are scheduled to start Friday's first round with tee times ranging from 7:15-7:55 a.m. ET. DePaul's fivesome will be playing in groups with players from Rhode Island and Marquette on Friday. Saturday's tee times will be available following the conclusion of the first time and Sunday's final round will be an 8 a.m. ET shotgun start. Live scoring is available at www.golfstat.com.

The South Course at Lake Lake Jovita Country Club measures 7,153 yards and is a par 72 layout.

DePaul's lineup for this week's action includes Ben Westley, Charles Boucher, Maximilian Mayer, Moritz Ackerhans and Russell Budd

Noting the Blue Demons: Junior Ben Westley leads the team with a 74.56 scoring average... he is followed by senior Charles Boucher at 76.00 and freshman Maximilian Mayer with a 76.72 stroke average... Boucher is the lone senior on the roster... six of the 10 members of the roster are either freshmen or sophomores... freshman Moritz Ackerhans joined the program at the start of the Winter quarter... Budd's score of 70 in the first round of the Cardinal Collegiate is the low score of the season... he also held the best round of the season a year ago with a 67 in the first round of the Xavier Invitational... Budd has recorded four career rounds of 70 or better in 13 career events... Westley leads the team with three top 25 finishes this season... Boucher and Budd have recorded two top 25 finishes.

Fall Recap: DePaul posted its best finish of the Fall schedule with an eighth place at the John Dallio Memorial on Sept. 25 and 26. Russell Budd opened the season with back-to-back 12th-place finishes at the Cardinal Collegiate and John Dallio Memorial for the top individual finishes of the season.
