Mayhew Finishes Third At Winthrop Waterford Invitational
ROCK HILL, S.C. – DePaul’s Drew Mayhew shot a sparkling two-round total of 144 and finished third at the Winthrop Waterford Invitational on Monday and Tuesday at the Waterford Golf Club. Mayhew, a senior from Kingston, Ontario, led the tournament after the first day, carding a 70. He came back on Tuesday and shot 74. He led the field until the final group finished and took third, three shots off the lead. The Blue Demons as a team finished 11th. Freshman Kyle Patterson finished in a tie for 40th after shooting 157 while junior Joe Hermes was tied for 42 at 158.
