Blue Demons play three rounds at the Memphis Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday

CHICAGO – The DePaul golf team swings back into action on Monday and Tuesday at the Memphis Intercollegiate, Mar. 25-26. Hosted at the Colonial Country Club on the South Course -- the par 72 measures 7,334 yards and features tree lined fairways, lakes and uncharacteristic elevation changes that make the course one of the more challenging in the Midwest.
The Blue Demons are join at the Memphis Intercollegiate by Arkansas State, Austin Peay, Ball State, Cincinnati, Cleveland State, Louisiana- Lafayette, Louisville, Memphis, Middle Tennessee, UMKC, South Alabama, Southern Miss, Texas Tech, Vanderbilt and Western Kentucky.
Moritz Ackerhans, Russell Budd, Jan Juelicher, John Pavelko and Adrian Halimi are set to tee off for the Blue Demons on Monday.
Budd leads the Blue Demons with a 74.86 stroke average through 15 rounds. The senior has three top 30 finishes and is coming off a 58th place showing at the USF Invitational, Mar. 3-5.
Pavelko (76.40), Juelicher (76.44), Ackerhans (76.60) all have stroke averages in the 76 range, while Halimi’s season average is 78.83.
Following the Memphis Intercollegiate, the Blue Demons head to Glen Eagles Country Club in Delray Beach Florida for the Spring Break Invitational, Mar. 29-31.
