CHICAGO – DePaul head coach Betty Kaufmann announced on Monday that Kyle Vincze will join the DePaul golf team for the 2014-15 season.  Vincze will be a freshman in the Fall of 2014 and come to Lincoln Park from North Reading, Massachusetts while he also spent time training in South Carolina.

“He is an exceptional young man and golfer and we look forward to him joining the DePaul family in the Fall.”

A standout at The Governor’s Academy in Massachusetts, Vincze was named an All-Independent School (ISL) League in 2010.

With a move to South Carolina, Vincze also trained at the International Junior Golf Academy, Heritage Academy and the Hilton Head Junior Golf Academy.

Vincze joins the Thomas twins -- Bobby and Freddy –- from Lakeville, Minn. in the Fall.  The Thomas brothers both finished in the top 25 at the Minnesota High School Boy 3A golf championship in June.
