RBC Canadian Open Leadboard
ANCASTER, ONT. -- Former DePaul golfer Greg Doherty tees off in the second round of the RBC Canadian Open at the Hamilton Golf & Country Club today at 8:30 a.m. (ET).
Doherty will try to make the 36-hole cut after Friday’s action and enters the day at +4. The former Blue Demon shot a 74 on day one and finds himself in a tie for 138th in the 156-player field. Doherty is 12 shots behind American Scott Piercy, who shot a course record 62 on the old-school, tree-lined course.
Doherty starts Friday at on the first hole and is paired with Erik Compton (T18th) and Charlie Beljan (T128th).
Friday’s projected cut at the RBC Canadian Open is at even.
This is Doherty’s first ever PGA Event while DePaul senior Russell Budd is serving as Doherty’s caddy.
