Final Round of Cleveland State Invitational Cancelled



Results

 

CHARDON, Ohio- The third and final round of the Cleveland State Invitational was cancelled due to unplayable conditions Wednesday at the Sand Ridge Golf Club.  Combined scores from the first two rounds counted as final and DePaul finished fourth overall in the team standings with a combined score of 613.

 

Freshman Greg Doherty finished fifth in the individual standings, carding 75-74 for a 149, just three shots off the lead.  Junior Matthew McMahon finished one shot behind after shooting 74-76. He tied for seventh overall.

 

The Blue Demons shot rounds of 301 and 312 in the tournament.  Eastern Michigan won the team title with a score of 595.

 

The fall season continues September 25-26, as DePaul hosts the John Dallio Memorial at Prairie Landing Golf Club in West Chicago.
