Saint Louis Wins Dallio Memorial Invitational

WEST CHICAGO – Saint Louis had three players in the top 10, including the tournament champion, and used that balance to win the John Dallio Memorial Invitational on Tuesday at Prairie Landing Golf Club.
The Billikens’ David Perritt carded a seven-under-par 209 (70-71-69) to win the tournament by five shots over Eastern Illinois’ Matt Kockler (214). Kockler finished one shot ahead of Saint Louis’ Ryan Blechle.
Saint Louis carded an 865 as a team and won the event by nine shots over runner-up Western Illinois.
DePaul, which finished 13th, was led by sophomore Matthew McMahon who finished tied for 10th overall with a two-over-par 218. It was the 12th time in his 13 career starts that McMahon has led the Blue Demons.
The Blue Demons will be in action again on October 10-11 when they travel to the Missouri Bluffs tournament.
