Golf Tied for Fourth after Day One of Missouri Bluffs Challenge



ST. CHARLES, Mo. – DePaul is tied for fourth place and Matthew McMahon is tied for sixth after the first day of the Missouri Bluffs Challenge at the Missouri Bluffs Golf Club.

 

The Blue Demons are tied with Arkansas State after shooting a two-over-par 570. Drake sprinted out to the team lead with a 13-under 555.

 

McMahon, a sophomore, had rounds of 70-69 and is three shots off the pace and tied for sixth. Sophomore Will Cumberland and freshman Nick Martin are both tied for 37th at four-over-par 146. Freshman Cory Blenkush is tied for 59th at 149 (+7).

 

The final 18 holes will be played on Tuesday.
