Golf Finishes Eighth at Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational

MUNCY, Ind.- The DePaul golf team finished in a tie for eighth place in the team standings while freshman Greg Doherty tied for 13th in the individual standings at Ball State’s Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational after Tuesday’s final round at the Delaware Country Club.
The Blue Demons recorded a final score of 868 in the three round tournament to finish even with
Doherty carded a score of 213 to finish three over par and kicked off the tournament with a first round of 68. Junior Matthew McMahon and freshman Collin Piercy each shot 217 to tie for 30th in the individual standings. Sophomore Cory Blenkush posted a 225 while junior Will Cumberland took the fifth spot for the Blue Demons with a 231.
