Golf Wins Ironhorse Intercollegiate
TUSCOLA, Ill. – All five DePaul golfers finished in the top 16 and the Blue Demons rolled to win the title at the annual Ironhorse Intercollegiate which concluded on Tuesday at the Ironhorse Golf Club.
The team title was the first for DePaul under Head Coach Betty Kaufmann.
DePaul finished with a team total of 897 while Wisconsin-Green Bay took second at 914. Southeast Missouri State and Evansville were tied for third at 925.
Freshmen Matthew McMahon and Will Cumberland each tied for sixth overall at 225, just six shots off the lead, to pace the Blue Demons.
Josh Scarborough finished tied for 13th at 229 while Kyle Patterson and Nathan Ruth were tied for 16th at 230.
