McMahon Wins Tillinghast Individual Title
SCARSDALE, N.Y. – Matthew McMahon carded a school record 63 and won the Tillinghast tournament on Monday at Fenway Golf Club.
The tournament was shortened to 18 holes due to rain.
McMahon, a freshman from Brockville, Ontario, finished seven under par one shot shy of the course record.
Rutgers won the team title carding a 12-over par 292, one stroke ahead of the seven-team field. Towson was second at 13-over par 293, followed by Oklahoma Christian at 25-over par 305, DePaul and St. John's were tied for fourth at 27-over par 307.
