Last October the Blue Demons topped a field of 12 squads with a three-round total of 850 (-2) to win the tournament title. DePaul’s Greg Doherty tied for the individual title and brought home second place following a playoff.

Along with the Blue Demons and host Hoyas, the 2008 tournament field includes Campbell, Detroit-Mercy, Gonzaga, Miami of Ohio, Minnesota, Richmond, St. John's, St. Joseph's, UNC- Greensboro and College of William & Mary.

The 54-hole tournament will tee off at 8 a.m. on Monday with each individual playing 36 holes. A final round of 18 holes will be played on Tuesday.

DePaul is coming off an 11th-place finish at the Fighting Irish Gridiron Golf Classic on October 6-7 in Notre Dame, Ind. Individually, senior Nick Martin has led the squad in two of the three tournaments this season.
