Blue Demons Finish 11th at Georgetown Intercollegiate

DePaul's Greg Doherty finishes tied for sixth in 36-hole tournament.

WASHINGTON, D.C. Greg Doherty carded a final round 75 to finish tied for sixth at the Georgetown Intercollegiate on Tuesday at The Members Club at Four Streams.

Doherty finished the 36-hole tournament with a 149 (74-75) and was the only Blue Demon to finish in the top 25. Doherty opened play today tied for 21st.

DePaul’s Ben Westley finished tied for 36th at 155 (73-82) while Michael Furci tied for 50th at 158 (75-83). Nick Martin shot 159 (76-83) to tie for 54th while Cory Blenkush finished tied for 68th with a 168 (84-84).

The Blue Demon individual, Charles Boucher, tied for 31st at 154 (71-83).

The Blue Demons as a team concluded the tournament in 11th place at 621.
