Solid Final Round Sends Golf to 10th Place Finish
KERRVILLE, Texas Charles Boucher finished 17th and the Blue Demons fired a two-over-par final round as a team to take home 10th place at the Roadrunner Intercollegiate on Tuesday at the Comanche Trace Golf Course. The Blue Demons finished the 36-hole tournament with a team score 931. Sam Houston State won the team title with a 904. Boucher fired a final round three-over-par 75 and finished with a three-round total of 229 which was tied for 17th place in the individual standings. Sam Houston State’s Fergal Rafferty took medalist honors with a three-round total of 220. Michael Furci, who played as an individual, carded a final round 76 and finished tied for 21st at 230. Ben Westley had a 74 on Tuesday and finished with a 231 and tied for 24th while Nick Martin shot even-par 72 and tied for 31st at 233. Cory Blenkush shot a team-low 69 on Tuesday (the second lowest round of the tournament) and rebounded from scores of 86 and 83 on Monday to finish tied for 48th at 238. October 27-28
