Golf 11th after Day One of the Roadrunner Intercollegiate

Blue Demons have two players in the top 15 after the first 36 holes of the annual Roadrunner Intercollegiate on Monday.

KERRVILLE, Texas DePaul has two players among the top 15 after the first day of the 13-team Roadrunner Intercollegiate on Monday at the Comanche Trace Golf Course.

The Blue Demons are in 11th place as a team with a two-round total of 641. Sam Houston State and Arkansas-Little Rock lead the field at 601.

Both Charles Boucher and Michael Furci, who is playing as an individual, shot identical rounds of 154 (79-75) and are tied for 14th in the individual standings.

Ben Westley shot 157 (84-73) and is tied for 27th while Nick Martin went 80-81 (161) to tied for 42nd. Corey Blenkush carded a 169 (86-83) and is tied for 61st while Greg Doherty withdrew from the competition.

The final 18 holes of the tournament will be played on Tuesday at 8:30 a.m.
