Men's soccer is two standings points away from final BIG EAST playoff berth

2015 (Junior): Started in 17 matches... second on the team in goals and points... scored two goals against Fordham including the game-winner, one against Drake and one against Marquette... recorded an assist against Villanova, Seton Hall, and Fordham... totaled 22 shots and eight shots on goal... saw 1,499 minutes of action during the 2015 season.

2014 (Sophomore):
Started in all 18 matches... scored a goal at Milwaukee and at St. John's... recorded an assist at Green Bay and against Drake... tied for third on the team in points... took five shots with two on goal against Butler... finished with 17 shots and 10 shots on goal.

2013 (Freshman):
Made an immediate impact on the program, playing in all 18 matches with 16 starts... recorded first collegiate assist in third game of the season at Illinois-Chicago... notched his first collegiate goal and first game-winner in 2-0 victory over SIU-Edwardsville... scored an insurance goal in 2-0 win over Loyola Chicago... in that match, he took three shots with two on goal... had three shots with one on frame against Xavier... fired off 14 shots on the season with five on target.

High School: The two-time Daily Herald Player of the Year and All-State selection finished a stellar career with 90 goals and 52 assists... led the Royals to three regional titles and twice to the sectional finals... all-area choice three years and all-conference four years... all-area captain twice... had 15 goals and 10 assists in leading the Chicago Magic PSG Academy team to the semifinals of the Dallas Cup in 2012.

Personal: Son of David Rodriguez and Irma Benitez... has two brothers, David and Samuel, and one sister, Daisy... majoring in  Finance.
