Highlights from DePaul's match against Western Illinois at Wish Field.

The Blue Demons fell 2-1 to the Leathernecks on Wednesday afternoon at Wish Field. Freshman Brian Hindle scored DePaul's lone goal.

Two-time member BIG EAST Conference All-Academic Team

2014 (Sophomore): Played in 18 matches with 17 starts... returned from missing 2013 season because of an injury to lead the Blue Demon field players in minutes played with 1,651... recorded an assist against Green Bay... took six shots with two shots on goal.

2013: Missed entire season with an injury.

2012 (Freshman): Started in 10 of the 16 matches he played in during the 2012 season... earned DePaul's only goal and his first collegiate score against Western Illinois in his first appearance of the season... assisted on a goal against Cincinnati, helping DePaul towards a 3-3 tie... had an impressive shot on goal percentage of .714, firing off shots on frame against Western Illinois, Marquette, and Cincinnati.

High School: Captained Fremd High School to a third place finish in the state...finished the 2012 season with nine goals and 19 assists...was a four-year starter at Fremd...named the 10th Congressional District Athlete of the Year...was Fremd's Athlete of the Year in his senior season...during his junior and senior seasons, named Mid-Suburban League All-Conference...named to the Daily Herald All-Area Team...competed for the Chicago Magic Academy and the Chicago Fire Academy...joined the U.S. Developmental Academy from 2010-2012.

Personal: Son of Kerry and Kelly Hindle...has a brother, Sam, and two sisters, Megan and Kate...majoring in business management.
