Men's Soccer Announces 2014 Summer Camp Program
March 24, 2014
CHICAGO - DePaul men's soccer presents the 2014 summer camp program which will feature three types of camps---including an overnight camp July 24-25 for students intent on playing soccer at the collegiate level.
The Elite Residential Overnight Camp and the Elite One-Day Camp (June 27) are for any and all incoming high school freshmen through incoming college freshmen and junior college players (boys only).
In addition, men’s soccer will team up with DePaul women’s soccer to conduct a Youth Day Camp July 14-18 for any and all boys and girls age 5-13.
The philosophy of the DePaul soccer camps is to provide a safe, positive soccer environment for the competitive soccer athlete who wants to improve and be a successful soccer player.
The Youth Camp is designed to focus on individual skill development with each player and encourages campers to learn in a fun and friendly atmosphere.
The Elite One-Day Camp and Elite Residential Camp are designed to simulate a Division I college soccer atmosphere for high school-aged players, incoming college freshmen and junior college players. These camps provide participants a taste of what college soccer is all about.
Overnight campers will be housed in student dormitories just like the Blue Demon soccer players and experience DePaul campus life in the upscale Lincoln Park community.
