Blue Demons-Panthers Postponed for Second Straight Day
CHICAGO – After getting postponed due to heavy rain in Milwaukee on Wednesday night, the Blue Demons and Panthers faced the same fate on Thursday in Chicago. Heavy rains and wind forced the exhibition match to be postponed for the second time in as many days. A potential make-up date and time is to be determined. The Blue Demons play their final preseason tune-up on Saturday afternoon. DePaul plays Western Michigan at 2 p.m. in the first half of a DePaul soccer exhibition doubleheader. The women’s team plays Northwestern at 4 p.m. to complete the twinbill. Both games will be played at Wish Field. The regular season opens on Friday, Aug. 31 against Jacksonville. The season-opener starts a run of six straight matches at Wish Field to begin the 2007 season for the Blue Demons.
