Michigan Stops DePaul In Season Opener
ANN ARBOR, MI -- Michigan scored a goal in the first half and made it stand up, beating DePaul 1-0 on Friday, September 1 at Elbel Field. It was the season opener for DePaul (0-1) and Michigan's (1-0) first match ever. The Wolverines lone tally came when Ian Hirschfield scored unassisted at 4:36 of the first half.
DePaul returns to action on Sunday when it hosts Eastern Illinois in
the 2000 home opener at Wish Field. Kickoff is at 2:00 p.m.
