Men's Soccer Falls To Florida Atlantic
With Hurricane Gordon approaching, the DePaul Blue Demons and Florida Atlantic Owls played a very tight match in the JU Nike Legends Classic in Jacksonville, Florida. With rain throughout the match, it was a defensive battle with the Owls scoring in the 81st minute for the 1-0 decision. For DePaul, goalkeeper Jash Chavero tallied six saves while the Blue Demons managed just six shots. The 1-0 score marked the second time that the Blue Demons have been shutout this season. They also lost 1-0 at Michigan in the season opener.
DePaul returns to Wish Field on Wednesday when they host the local rival Northwestern. The kickoff is set for 5 p.m. The next Conference USA match is scheduled for next Sunday at UAB.
