CHICAGO - The BIG EAST Conference on Monday afternoon switched DePaul's first-round men's soccer playoff match against No. 5/2 Connecticut to Thursday.

Originally, the Blue Demons were scheduled to face the Huskies Wednesday in Storrs, Conn.

But with the three other first-round BIG EAST Championship matches being played on Thursday, the conference decided to keep the playoff schedule uniform for all four games.

A heavy snowstorm in the Northeast over the weekend forced the postponement of one match, and USF and Rutgers finished in a 0-0, double-overtime tie in Monday's rescheduled game.

A makeup game between Notre Dame and Seton Hall had to be moved to Tuesday. That result will have a bearing on the seeding of three teams in the Blue Division---including the Fighting Irish.

This will be the second year in a row DePaul has opened the BIG EAST playoffs at Connecticut. Last year, the Blue Demons came up short 2-0 in Storrs.
