Men's Tennis Falls To Green Bay, 4-3

CHICAGO -- After taking the doubles point to open the day, the DePaul men's tennis team fell to Green Bay, 4-3, on Saturday afternoon in Chicago.
DePaul fell to 1-1 with the loss, while Green Bay improved to 2-0.
The Blue Demons secured the doubles point by virtue of wins in the No. 2 and No. 3 matches. Adam Reinhart and Tim Corwin beat Joey Leto and Michael Tebon, 6-2, in the No. 2 match and Joshua Schramm teammed with Paul John to win the No. 3 match, 6-0, over Rowan Isaaks and Leo Gomez Islinger.
But DePaul won only two of the six singles matches as Green Bay rallied back to take the match.
DePaul's two singles victories came courtesy of John in the No. 4 match and Schramm in the No. 5 match. John outlasted Isaaks, 6-3, 5-6 (5), 10-8, and Schramm toppled Leto, 6-2, 6-2.
The match marked the Blue Demons' final home contest until Feb. 21. They begin a four-match roadtrip on at St. John's on Jan. 31.
