Men's Tennis Falls On The Road To Utah

DENVER, Colo. -- The DePaul men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to Utah on Saturday evening in Denver, Colo. 

The Blue Demons fell to 1-4, while the Utes improved to 8-2.

Utah took all nine matches from DePaul on Saturday, six in singles play and three in doubles play. After falling behind, 1-0, after the doubles matches, senior Filip Dzanko lost a hard-fought battle to No. 87 Slim Hamza in the No.1 match in three sets, 6-5 (5), 5-6 (10), 8-10. David Vieyra also pushed his opponent, Alejandro Medinilla to three sets in the No. 2 match, but fell 6-4, 2-6, 1-6.

DePaul will look to bounce back tomorrow morning against No. 52 Denver. Match time is slated for 11 a.m.
