Men's Tennis Suffers Road Loss At Denver

DENVER, Colo. -- The DePaul men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to No. 52 Denver on Sunday morning in Denver, Colo. 

With the loss, the Blue Demons fall to 1-5, while the Pioneers improve to 6-2.

Denver took all eight matches from DePaul on Sunday, six in singles play and two in doubles play. After falling behind, 1-0, following the doubles matches, freshman Joshua Schramm lost a hard-fought battle to Yanncik James in the No.5 match in three sets, 0-6, 6-5 (0), 8-10. Filip Dzanko fell in a close two-set No. 1 match (5-6 (2), 4-6) to Henry Craig.

DePaul returns to action on Feb. 21 at home against Bradley. Match time is scheduled for 6 p.m.
