Men's Tennis Falls to No. 58 Cal Poly in Tucson

TUCSON, Ariz. - The DePaul men's tennis team saw its two-match win streak snapped on Saturday, dropping a 7-0 decision to No. 58 Cal Poly at the LaNelle Robson Tennis Center. With the loss, the Blue Demons fell to 3-5 overall on the season and are now 1-2 against ranked opponents in dual play. In doubles play, freshmen Sten Leusink and Jan-Willem Feilzer dropped a tough decision 9-8 (4) at the second spot. The Blue Demons also had two singles matches go to three sets, but were unable to pull out a win in either. Senior Mathias Hambach and Leusink both got off to good starts, winning first sets before falling late at second and third singles, respectively. The team returns to the courts tomorrow, looking to rebound against hosting Arizona. First serve is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. CT. No. 58 Cal Poly 7, DePaul 0 Singles
