TAMPA, Fla. – The No. 52 DePaul men’s tennis team dropped a 6-1 BIG EAST Conference dual at No. 50 USF on Thursday at the USF Varsity Courts.  USF has won its last three matches and improves to 11-5. DePaul has dropped its last three matches – all to ranked opponents, and falls to 11-6 on the season.

The Bulls took the doubles point by sweeping all three courts as well as the matches’ momentum,

USF clinched its second BIG EAST Conference win with singles victories on the fourth, first and third courts.

With the match already over, DePaul senior Ben Hartman continued to battle in the sixth position.  The senior secured his 16 win of season with a 7-5, 6-4 victory over Sebastian Hagn.

The Blue Demons return to action on Saturday when they travel to UCF for a 9 a.m. (CST) dual.
