Murfreesboro, Tenn.— The No. 66 DePaul men’s tennis team started the Sun Belt Shootout with an impressive 4-0 victory over Troy on Saturday at Middle Tennessee State's Buck Bouldin Tennis Center. The Blue Demons, who are the top seed in the tournament, have won their last two matches and improve to 13-7 and face Memphis in the semifinals this afternoon. DePaul and Troy battled for the doubles point, before the Blue Demon pairs on the second and third courts were able to pull ahead and take a 1-0 advantage into singles. Ben Hartman and Filip Dzanko were the first to finish and topped Sami Ghorbel and Niklas Jonsson 8-6 in the third position. Matija Palinic and George Chanturia clinched the point with a 9-7 victory on the second court.
