WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - DePaul senior George Chanturia is coming back to Chicago as the Purdue Fall Invitational's main draw champion.  Chanturia claimed the tournament's championship after defeating his teammate Filip Dzanko in his second match on Sunday.

Chanturia began his day with a solid 6-2, 6-3 win over Purdue's Krisztian Krocsko.  After watching Dzanko fight to his straight set (7-6 (4), 7-6 (2)) victory over Green Bay's Michael Tenzer the two Blue Demons took to the courts as teammates but also as opponents in the Championship match at Purdue's  Schwartz Tennis Center.

Chanturia won his fifth match of the weekend and claimed championship honors with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Dzanko.

In the main draw's consolation bracket, Matija Palinic reached the semifinals, but dropped a 6-4, 6-4 match to Case Western's Will Drougas.
