Dzanko Leads Blue Demons at ITA Regionals

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Filip Dzanko and the DePaul men's tennis team wrapped up play on day two at the ITA Midwest Regionals in Columbus, Ohio on Friday evening at Ohio State University.

Dzanko advanced through to the Round of 32 in the main singles draw to lead the Blue Demons. He knocked off Illinois State's Jacob Wilson, 6-2, 6-0, and is the only Blue Demon left standing in the draw. David Vieyra and Sten Leusink also competed in the draw but fell in the first round. Leusink entered the draw by advancing to the quarterfinals of the qualifying draw.

In doubles play, Dzanko and Vieyra received a first round bye and will compete Saturday.
