CHICAGO - DePaul men's tennis returns to the courts after a two month layoff, facing local foe UIC on Saturday at Lakeshore Sport & Fitness. First serve is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.

The Blue Demons are coming off a fall season that saw the team compete at seven different tournaments. Sophomore Adam Reinhart led the team in singles victories (11-5) and the veteran duo of Filip Dzanko and Mathias Hambach paced DePaul with five doubles wins.

The Flames last competed in late October at the USTA/ITA Midwest Regional, where UIC picked up 12 combined wins in singles and doubles. Coming off a 4-15 dual match record in 2011-12, the Flames were selected to finish sixth in the Horizon League preseason poll.

DePaul will be making its home debut, and will host four other matches during the spring season. The Blue Demons finished the 2011-12 season 11-15 overall and started off their season on Jan. 14, 2012 with a 7-0 win over UIC.
